You should wait until you receive your final award letter (FAL) before requesting a CAS from your university. Occasionally universities will issue your CAS before seeing your FAL. If this happens, please send them a copy of your FAL as soon as possible.

You are asked to provide details of your work experience in the application form. This includes the name of your employer(s), job title(s), and dates of employment. If you are shortlisted to interview, you will be asked to provide references, which will be verified by the British embassy or high commission.
Applicants must meet the minimum work experience requirement before submitting their application. Applicants whose work experience amounts to less than the minimum amount will not be considered for an award.
The types of work experience that are eligible for Chevening include full-time employment; part-time employment; voluntary work; and paid or unpaid internships.
